An Ethernet cable is a way to connect to the DLink range extender to the Computer.

Then, you can open the wireless utility program on your personal computer.

Then, select the name of the D-Link network extender, and then enter your password.

Start a browser on the internet and enter the default web address dlinkap.local to access the D-Link extension. You can also type in the IP address of the extender, e.g. http://192.168.0.50

The following screen will show the login page for D-Link Extender. Log in using the D-link Extender login default login credentials. Select the "Login" button.

Then, once you've reached the configuration page , click on the "Setup" tab.

Start the dlinkap.local wizard for setting up, and follow the steps.

Set the security and wireless settings of the D-link Extender device.

To finish the D-Link extension configuration Click on 'Finish. Once the setup is completed then restart the extensioner, and try to configure it.
