There could be several reasons that stem up quicken error cc-601 such as an unrecognized bank account, not making any transactions in the last 12 months, or having a zero balance in the account. To eliminate quicken error code cc-601 you must verify the bank account and make sure that some transactions have been performed in the last 12 months. Sometimes, the problem resolves on its own in 12 to 24 hours. If nothing works then you will need to deactivate and then reactivate your Quicken account. Deactivation and reactivation can be performed from the Tools section, go to the Account list then click Edit. Now you will need to choose online services and click Deactivate. Perform the same steps to reactivate your Booking account. Once done the error cc-601 should resolve.

Step 1: Wait 12-24 hours
If the bank server is down and you are trying to update your accounts at the same time, there is a good chance that a Quicken CC-601 error will occur. However, there are many reasons for server failure such as network problems, power failure, etc. So you just have to wait at least 12-24 hours because the server can often run automatically at high speed and hence the error can be resolved. Additionally, you can follow the Quicken community for further updates.
Step 2: Verify Bank Account Activity
You may have to log in to your bank’s website by entering the exact credentials in the desired field, and then make sure your account has the last 12 months of activity available. This can solve the problem with Quicken.
Once you complete these two steps above, you may not be facing the same quicken issue again. If it still exists, continue with the next troubleshooting guide.
Step 3: Deactivate And Reactivate Account
Note: Before starting this step, make sure that you have made a backup of your Quicken data file. And then let’s start the following guide:
1- Deactivate Quicken Account
Open quicken
Go to Tools> Account List or press “Ctrl + A” to open the account list
Click edit for an account that cannot upload transactions to Quicken
Select the tab “Online Services”
Click disable
And then finally press ok
2- Re-activate the Quicken account
Open early
Go to Tools> Account List or press (Ctrl + A) on your keyboard.
Click Edit for the same account that has been deactivated.
Select the Online Services tab
Click the button “Configure now …”
Quicken prompts you on the screen where you must enter your financial institution credential “username and password”
Click connect
In the process of reactivating the account, Quicken will show you your account information, be sure to link your account instead of adding it again.
