My son asked for a vacuum for his dorm but he didn't want a bulky vacuum. I got this one, hesitant that it would work since it's small and slim. My son was so happy! He can keep his room clean and most of all it cleans his carpet so good with only one swipe. Very nice vacuum, and cost-effective
