Israeli Minister Unable to Attend 'Kop26' Meeting Due to Wheelchair Users
On November 2, the BBC news agency reported that Ms Karine El Herrar, Minister of Infrastructure. Israel's energy and water supply chain said it was unable to attend the COP26 conference being held in Glasgow, Scotland, as it was not accessible to wheelchairs.

An official of Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett's working group said a complaint had been filed with the organizers and that Mr Bennett would not be present at the November 2 event if Ms Elherrar was unable to attend.
Neil Wigan, British Ambassador to Israel, tweeted: "I'm sorry to hear that Mr Elherrar was unable to attend the Kop26 Summit. My deepest apologies to the Minister. We want the Kop Conference to be welcoming and inclusive for everyone.”
Ms Elherrar told Israeli Channel 12: Cannot enter the meeting area. Because the only way to get in is by walking or taking a shuttle that is not suitable for wheelchairs.
